Google Chrome Turns 3 to Overtake Firefox Next Year

Today, Google is celebrating Chrome’s third birthday, it has been three whole years since Google decided to stir up the browser market. Chrome has grown from nobody into the third largest browser after Microsoft’s IE and Mozilla’s Led Fish Tank Light Firefox. In the last 12 months, Chrome has gained 7.8 percentage points to 15.5%; in August, Chrome surged by 1.2 points, its largest increase ever.
